Jet lag refers to symptoms caused by time differences resulting from traveling across different time zones (by traveling in an easterly or westerly direction).Composition of Valdispert Melatonine 5mg: Each tablet (=daily dose) contains:Melatonin 5 mgIngredients of Valdispert Melatonine 5mg: Active ingredients: Each tablet contains 5 mg melatoninExcipients: calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, anhydrous colloidal silicon dioxide and pregelatinized starchUse of Valdispert Melatonine 5mg: The recommended dosage is one 3 mg tablet daily for a maximum of 4 days. The first dose should be taken upon arrival at the destination at your usual bedtime (local time). The dose on subsequent days should also be taken at your usual bedtime.If the standard dose of 3 mg does not sufficiently reduce the symptoms, one 5 mg tablet may be taken at local bedtime instead of the 3 mg tablet. The 5 mg tablet should not be taken in addition to the 3 mg tablet, but a higher dose may be taken on subsequent days. The maximum daily dose is 5 mg once daily. The dose that sufficiently relieves the symptoms should be taken for the shortest possible time. Method of useIt is important that melatonin is taken at the right time. If you take the tablet at the wrong time, melatonin can cause drowsiness and delay adjustment to local time.Therefore, the tablets should not be taken before 8:00 PM and after 4:00 AM. The tablets must be swallowed with a glass of water. It is advised not to eat anything 2 hours before and 2 hours after the scheduled time to take melatonin.
